Our Founder
Alecia Hooper is the heart and visionary behind our mission. A devoted mother, military veteran, former educator, and passionate advocate for youth, Alecia has spent years serving children both inside and outside the classroom. Through her experiences, she saw a recurring need: children missing the nurturing guidance and unconditional support that a mother’s love provides. Inspired by her own journey as a single mother, Alecia founded this organization to fill that gap, offering youth the love, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive.

Her philosophy is simple: when we expose youth to more of what the world has to offer, they’re empowered to become more. She believes that breaking generational barriers and expanding young people's vision is key to helping them create a legacy of their own.
My Story
My name is Alecia, and my story is shaped by service, in the military, in the classroom, and in my community. As a veteran, I gained the discipline, structure, and focus that continue to guide me today. Those values helped me in motherhood, in teaching, and now in mentoring young people who deserve every chance to succeed.

During my time as an educator, I saw too many children struggling without the consistent love and support they needed. Some were being raised by relatives who stepped in without much preparation, time, or resources. Others had lost their mothers or lived with parents who were physically present but emotionally distant.

As a single mother of 2, I understood those challenges intimately. I wanted every child to feel the same love, guidance, and belief that I gave my own. That desire became the foundation, and the name, of this organization. We exist to be the cushion for children and families in transition, providing emotional support, basic necessities, and mentorship. We fill the gap when others can’t.
I also believe deeply in the power of growth. I’ve evolved through meaningful conversations and vision-setting, but I’ve also come to understand that execution matters. Strategy is important, but action creates change.

This journey is personal, purposeful, and just getting started, and I’m committed to helping youth break through limits, rewrite their stories, and build legacies of their own.
